 The Petersham Hotel Restaurant - Richmond

This is one for the grown-up lovers. PHR mixes vintage charm with fine dining topped with one of the nicest views in the borough. You'll have Petersham meadows and the river Thames as a backdrop to your romantic evening. One of two great restaurants located close to the water, what better way to top off your night, than a leisurely stroll along the river Thames.

Le Salon Prive -  Twickenham
Le Salon Prive, Twickenham
This restaurant has eclectic style. This 2016 they are doing a Valentine's menu of four courses for 50 quid plus a glass of bubbles. Its' interior is not your typical of old French Bistrot, its nicer and decorated with pin cushion seating with touches of art deco. If you want something intimate, and be seen to impress your date, this is your place. Retro Bistro is located on Crown Road in St Margarets, Twickenham, TW1 3EJ
The Glasshouse - Kew
If you're really serious about impressing your date, maybe you've been in the dog house, or want to really push the boat out. This is the ultimate of ultimate's in dining. The Glasshouse is a one Michelin star restaurant in an easy location, right next to Kew Station. Don't let the Michelin put you off, it is one of the best value Michelin restaurants in London. There is the lovely Tap on the Line pub where you can go for a pre dinner aperitif before embarking on a romantic filled night. They have an extensive wine list and if you want a nice touch, impress your partner with a glass of champagne when you are seated. Simply arrange it when you book. The Glasshouse is located at 14 Station Parade, Kew TW9 3PZ

Linnea - Kew

 Swedish by nature with slick modern food. This one will impress the girls, loads of light starter options with personal service. This boutique restaurant has a quaint intimate setting on Kew Green and the food is outstanding. If your lucky enough to get a reservation here you won't be disappointed.

The Bingham - Richmond

 A formal fine dining, light, airy romantic restaurant that has a fabulous location over looking the river Thames in Richmond. A place to really open the wallet and go all out. You could secure a balcony table or nestle in doors if the weather is cooler.  Expect formal service, and if you want there is private dining available as well.

Atithi Indian Restaurant - Twickenham

 This is a cosy, dark intimate spot with great cuisine, bib gourmand Indian food that is popularly priced. They have tables further at the back so be sure to opt for those if you'd like a bit more privacy. It's not your usual curry and chips place, this is proper Indian fine dining. A place to delight and I would start with their more-ish potato cake to start your enchanting evening.

Le Salon Prive Restaurant, St Margarets Twickenham

Le Salon Prive Restaurant, St Margarets, Twickenham La Salon Prive (The Private Lounge) is actually a newly re-invigorated, and much needed refurbished Brula - a French Bistro restaurant based in St Margaret's, Twickenham for over 15 years. The restaurant went through an ownership change back in January (the former owners having connections with other Richmond restaurants, La Buvette and A Cena, as well as Covent Garden restaurant Joe Allens). The new proprietor happens to be the same owner of a very popular Italian restaurant, Bacco, in Richmond. Bacco is one of my top Italian fine dining eats and here's a  review of Bacco  here. Entrance to Le Salon Prive, Dining Room La Salon have kept the lovely glass stained windows but have totally redone the inside. Formerly the restaurant resembled something similar to your geriatric granny's living room - it might seem charming but it really felt like it had been under-invested, incidentally a similar theme also exist

IT STARTS as soon as you pull up outside Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, the service, that is. Staff are with you every step, at your beck and call, although there's no need to beck or call - they're always one step ahead. It may be disconcerting for some folk but if you've not experienced 3* service before, relax, enjoy it, don't fall into the trap of thinking this type of place is only frequented by fancy folk who think they're the above it all. It's a place where people are celebrating and enjoying themselves. GR has a cosy, simple and relaxed ambience, not an opulent over the top dining room as you'd expect for a 3 Michelin restaurant.
